Basic operations

In Ragnarok Online, basic operations such as moving characters, attacking targets, and acquiring items are done with the mouse.

Using the mouse

The default cursor is an arrow, and you can move your character by clicking on the ground. However, you can only move where the green square mark appears, and you cannot move to the place where this mark does not appear.

The cursor appears when you click the right mouse button. In this state, you can rotate the screen by moving the mouse left or right.

A cursor that displays available targets to attack. When you clicked, you will attack the target.

A cursor appears when acquiring an item that has fallen on the ground. Click to acquire the item. However, only one item can be acquired at a time.

This cursor appears when talking to NPCs, and appears when looking at objects on the map as well as NPCs. In particular, it is very helpful to check the shape of the cursor when conducting a quest investigation mission, etc.

Chat

Basic conversation takes place through the chat window at the bottom. If you press the Enter key, the chat window is activated/deactivated. If you press Enter after entering the desired words, the conversation contents are output. You can select Public / Party / Guild chat by using the button on the right side of the chat window, and the text color is different for each type.

If you want to whisper 1:1 to a specific user, you can do a 1:1 whisper by entering the name of the other person's character in the left column of the chat window, writing the desired word in the right column, and pressing Enter. The size of the chat window can be adjusted by pressing F10 or clicking and dragging the mouse, and by double-clicking the chat window title, you can change it to the desired title.

Also, you can add multiple tabs through the + button at the top right of the chat window, and by clicking the ◎ button, you can edit so that only the messages you want are displayed.
